Simple UP² supports video containers including MOV, M2V, and MP4, compressed with codecs like HEVC, HEVC with alpha channel, MPEG4, ProRes 422, ProRes 422LT, ProRes 422HQ, ProRes 4444 (including alpha channel), as well as certain variations of AVC codecs

Furthermore, Simple UP² offers compatibility with numerous common file formats, such as JPEG, PNG, TGA, TIFF, JPEG2000, and many others.
If a file contains an alpha channel, it will also be upscaled

EXR supports
In Simple UP², there is extended support for EXR file formats and sequences. Simple UP² will upscale all layers that are not data-related, such as motion vectors, depth, and so on
